John Marksbury is an artist and designer based in Boston, MA. Developed through an intuitive process of layering and expressive mark making, John’s colorful paintings explore ideas of nature, time and space, the fantastic and mystical, symbolism, and the tension between objective and subjective experience.
John recently returned to Boston from St Louis, where he exhibited work at Houska Gallery, HiSpace, Art Saint Louis, and Saint Charles Community College’s biannual painting invitational.
